Business Broadband – Sussex, Kent and Across the UK
Cavendish specialises in providing fast and reliable Business Broadband from ADSL2 to Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) or Fibre to the Premises (FTTP). We know how important having super-fast, reliable broadband is for your business. We know that having it drop out can mean the difference between making money and losing money even for a short time so we make sure we provide a business broadband service that is second to none. Our highly experienced team will make sure your business broadband works tirelessly in the background day in and day out so you can get on with running your business.
Speed and Consistency
There is a clear requirement in most businesses to have as fast a broadband connection as possible so we work with clients to plan and install everything needed to optimise the up and download speeds. It is also important for businesses to have a consistent signal throughout the premises, having a wi-fi black spot in a meeting room, for example can be a big problem. We specialise in nursing a consistent broadband speed anywhere in the building but using high-grade business wi-fi to work with the business broadband.
We are also able to install private ethernet circuits to allow private internet access while maintaining high-speed broadband for the whole building.
In addition, with the need for higher speeds and a dedicated internet connection, we are seeing more customers installing Private Ethernet Circuits.
Business Broadband Back Up
Naturally, a broadband outage is a very serious problem, our systems are highly stable and our team work very hard to make sure your service is never interrupted but there are factors outside of our control like localised cabling issues and other problems. This is why we offer a 4g backup service if there are issues. Our Mobile WiFi unit or MiFi allows you to instantly connect multiple devices to a 4G mobile WiFi unit. This means even if your main broadband fails you can be up and running in no time. When business broadband is integral to the functioning of your business a 4G broadband back up unit it a very important failsafe.
The Future of Broadband in the UK (2020 to 2025)
Over the next 5 years, we will see a significant increase in direct fibre broadband services being available to our customers. With BT Openreach announcing that they will be switching off the PSTN in 2025 all broadband products will need to be provided as single access, that is without an analogue line. Therefore, the major network providers are all gearing up their infrastructure to deliver direct fibre or single access Fibre to the Cabinet broadband as quickly as they can. We are keeping a close eye on where the Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) is being rolled out and making sure customers are informed as soon as it becomes available. BT Openreach are focusing their Fibre to the Premise roll out in the more rural areas to start with and then expanding that out to all areas over the next few years. However, it’s not just BT doing this so Cavendish are partnering with other major network providers like City Fibre to ensure we get our customers using Fibre as soon as it becomes available.
