Working in Partnership with Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Councils
On the 10th and 17th of June, Cavendish participated in two “Ways of Working (WOW)” events organised by Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Councils.
After a strong 5-year-long relationship, Lewes Council and Eastbourne Borough Council are in the process of merging together following in the footsteps of more than 400 councils to create two, more customer-focused, cost-effective and flexible organisations. They are planning to reach these by modernising their technology and integrating their staff.
As a part of this modernisation and following a recent tender process Cavendish were selected to provide a new telephone system to across multiple locations for both councils.
Cavendish used a phased approach to upgrade and replace the telephony platforms across all of the council sites, introducing the latest Mitel Communications Platform and Contact Centre Solution while providing resilience at every level to enable business continuity whatever the event. Critical to the success of the project was the ability for council staff to work seamlessly across any site or mobile device, which was achieved through the introduction of MiCollab software. With the very latest technology rolled out across the councils, backed up by Cavendish expertise, the system is future proofed for many years to come.
We are very pleased we could contribute to this successful partnership between Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Councils.
“I understand that your stall was really busy at both of our ways of working events, and we’ve had very positive feedback. Thank you so much for your time and for helping us to get the message out about the potential of MiCollab.” – Henry Branson
