Cavendish is proud to be able to support leading children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent, for the second time this year. We are pleased to be able to donate a cheque, which will help the charity continue to fight for change and support children and young people with cancer.
Cancer doesn’t discriminate. Every day more than 10 children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. From diagnosis, CLIC Sargent’s specialist care teams will step in, ready to help, support and guide. They will provide a specialist package of support tailored to each young cancer patient and family.
CLIC Sargent fights tirelessly for children and young people with cancer, often when they feel they can’t. CLIC Sargent does this individually, locally and nationally, so that they can focus on the important things, like getting well. And if the worst happens, the charity will work with bereaved families to get them support, to help them cope with their emotional pain.
Paul Turner, Cavendish Finance Manager commented “The whole team here at Cavendish is pleased to be able to continue supporting the charity and are 100% behind the initiative. The charity does an amazing job at supporting those suffering with the illness, and their families. We are thankful for all the hard work that CLIC Sargent puts in. We continue supporting the charity and wish everybody involved a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
Joshua Perry, one of our Voice and Data Consultants and Scott Warren, our newest member of the sales team at Cavendish, can be seen holding the cheque. Scott commented “I am excited to be part of the team that is so proactive in supporting different charities and look forward to hearing more about CLIC Sargent in the future.”
