Cavendish is proud to be able to support leading children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent, for another year. We are pleased to be able to donate a £450 cheque, which will help the charity continue to fight for change and support children and young people with cancer.
Cancer doesn’t discriminate. Every day more than 10 children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. From diagnosis, CLIC Sargent’s specialist care teams will step in, ready to help, support and guide. They will provide a specialist package of support tailored to each young cancer patient and family.
CLIC Sargent fights tirelessly for children and young people with cancer, often when they feel they can’t. CLIC Sargent does this individually, locally and nationally, so that they can focus on the important things, like getting well. And if the worst happens, the charity will work with bereaved families to get them support, to help them cope with their emotional pain.
Petra Marmaros, Marketing Executive at Cavendish commented: “I started my career at Cavendish 1.5 years ago and beside the marketing I am actively involved in charity activities therefore I was really happy when we decided to support CLIC Sargent again this year. The charity does an amazing job at supporting children with cancer and their families. We are thankful for all the hard work that CLIC Sargent puts in. We wish everybody involved a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
Jade Boyer and Helen Durrant, our newest members of the sales support team at Cavendish, can be seen holding the cheque. Helen commented “I am excited to be part of the team as it is actively involved in the community and supports many local charities”.
