Brighton Half Marathon
One of our Cavendish Communications Team members, Tony Fossella is running the Brighton Half Marathon to support MacMillan Cancer Relief Charity in February 2018.
With his participation, Cavendish would like to increase attention on cancer in general therefore we are raising funds for MacMillan Cancer Relief Charity.
His set target is £200 but Tony is aiming to collect more than that. To help him to reach his aimed amount (and possibly more), Cavendish donates £100.
About MacMillan Cancer Support
The want to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same.
There are 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and as more people live longer with their cancer, this number is set to grow to 4 million by 2030. MacMillan Cancer Support wants to make sure they can provide support to everyone who needs it, to help people affected by cancer feel more in control of their lives.
It’s a big task, and they can’t do it alone. But there are lots of ways you can get involved and help them achieve their goal, from fundraising, to volunteering and campaigning.
