Marketing Assistant/ Executive – NEW

Job Type: Marketing Assistant/ Executive (Full-time, Permanent)

Salary: £18,000 – £26,500 per annum depending on experience 

Location: Newhaven, East Sussex (Remote working available)

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant/ Executive who can work with our Sales team to develop new and innovative ideas that effectively communicate with our customers and generate new business. This multi-faceted role would be a great opportunity for a recent marketing graduate, an aspiring marketer looking to start their professional marketing career, or equally, someone who has 1-2 years experience in this field, looking for a new B2B marketing challenge.

Skills we are looking for:

  • Extremely well organised with an eye for detail
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, with a proactive approach to tasks 
  • Experience with using the Adobe Suite e.g. In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator is desirable
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools e.g. Content Cal/Hootsuite is desirable
  • Familiarity with WordPress and the plugin Elementor is desirable
  • A degree in a Business or Marketing field is desirable

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create and execute all marketing activity for Cavendish by working with the Sales team and Managing Director
  • Website content management with focus on SEO ranking and driving traffic to our website
  • Managing paid advertising campaigns via Google Ads and Social Media e.g. LinkedIn
  • Create posts for social media, with particular focus on content marketing 
  • Email design, distribution and analysis via the Mailchimp platform
  • Event planning, including designing and ordering appropriate print marketing collateral e.g. brochures, leaflets etc.
  • Manage our CRM platform from a Marketing perspective including database management and lead distribution
  • Conduct general, regular Telecoms market research, to keep up to date on industry trends and potential opportunities

Sales Executive (CCTV, AV, WiFi & Structured Cabling) – NEW

Job Type: Cabling Services Sales Executive (Full-time, Permanent)

Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum

Location: Newhaven, East Sussex (Remote working available)

The role involves
working within our friendly team to generate business within our Cabling
division which encompasses WiFi, CCTV, AV (Audio Visual) and Structured Cabling
services.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with structured cabling and the associated product set above would be preferred, although training will be provided.
  • A passion for sales and desire to earn good commission
  • Confident and outgoing
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Self motivated
  • Organised and methodical
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good customer service skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify B2B sales opportunities for Cavendish Cabling products and services using the CRM system, market research, internet, telephone, media, networking and own initiative
  • Contact potential clients to build rapport and arrange meetings to discuss their business requirements and how our solutions can support their business goals
  • Networking and effective relationship building in industries directly linked to our portfolio, including Electrical Contractors, Building Companies & Public Sector organisations
  • Be proactive in achieving sales targets / KPIs and meeting deadlines
  • Working closely with Sales Manager / Marketing to follow up on specific marketing campaigns with the goal of generating leads, promoting interest in the product portfolio and updating key information on the CRM system
  • Conduct site surveys for structured cabling, CCTV (closed circuit television), WiFi and Audio Visual (AV) installations
  • Maintain accurate and complete CRM records for all accounts and prospects, supporting the Cabling Manager through administration of all departmental orders
  • Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer concerns
  • Supports Cabling Manager and performs relevant and reasonable duties when Manager is absent/on holiday or out of the office

Telephone Systems Engineer – Sub Contractors

Job Type: Telephone Systems Engineer – Sub contractors

Salary: £150 – 200 per day

Location: Near Brighton in Sussex

Cavendish is one of the UK’s fastest growing Telecoms companies. Due to a growing work load we are looking for sub contractors that would like to join our busy engineering team, based near Brighton in Sussex but currently installing nationwide.

As a sub contractor you will be working on various types of installations and projects, either solo or as a member of our team.

The role also involves working on various projects for our customers which will range from simple adds, move and changes to full system installations.

As the role can involve travel up and down the UK, occasional overnight stays may be required.

The Candidates:

The candidates must be a team player and follow through instructions with a can-do attitude. Health and Safety is an important part of all working environments and a good understanding of H&S is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in at least one of the following systems: Panasonic NS700/1000, Mitel MiVoice office 250 or Mitel MiVoice Business.
  • Knowledge of programming either Netgear or HP Switches
  • DBS check – Desirable but not essential
  • Able to work with initiative and apply a forward-thinking mind-set

Job Type: Data Cabling Engineer – Sub contractors

Salary: £120 – 150 per day

Location: Near Brighton in Sussex

Cavendish is one of the UK’s fastest growing Telecoms companies. Due to a growing work load we are looking for sub contractors that would like to join our busy cabling team, based near Brighton in Sussex.

As a sub contractor you will be working on various types of infrastructure installations and projects, either solo or as a member of our small team.

The role also involves working on various projects for our customers which will involve new installs across a number of sites around their business. These projects can range from cabling, wireless, access control and CCTV installs.

As the role can involve travel up and down the UK, occasional overnight stays are required.

The Candidates:

The candidates must be a team player and follow through instructions with a can-do attitude. Health and Safety is an important part of all working environments and a good understanding of H&S is mandatory.

The ideal engineers will have the following:

  • Proven experience of installation, test and termination of Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A cabling
  • Wireless Installation – Both Wi-Fi and Wireless links
  • CCTV installation
  • CSCS or ECS Card
  • IPAF/PASMA accredited – Desirable not essential but must be able to work at height
  • Able to work with initiative and apply a forward-thinking mind-set
  • Customer facing, polite and informative
  • Full clean UK driving licence (Essential)

Other Desirable Skills:

  • Fibre optic installation and termination
  • Access control installation
  • AV experience
