Cavendish Receives Healthy Workplace Award

Cavendish Communications was presented with a certificate and plaque this month by private health insurance providers, Simply Health in recognition that Cavendish provided a healthy workplace.

Finance Administrator Carmela Reid collected the certificate on behalf of Cavendish from Simply Health Senior Corporate Sales Consultant, Andrew Bailey, who had travelled to Newhaven from Hampshire.

Cavendish have been offering Simply Health private healthcare for its staff for over four years.

The Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace Awards recognise companies that demonstrate a positive approach towards the health and wellbeing of employees.

According to Simply Health, being a health conscious employer goes beyond tackling sickness absence and protecting the bottom line, it's about showing a real commitment to people through improved engagement and a healthier, happier workforce.

Commenting on the award, Cavendish Sales Director, David Moorat said, “The award endorses that fact that we truly act in the best interests of our employee health. Carmela was instrumental in applying for the award, so it was only right that she collected the award today. ”
